Think you know your users?

UXR Consulting can help you find out.

User experience research, or UXR, comes out of the human-computer interaction (HCI) field of study and emphasizes understanding the user (your patrons, clients, visitors, or stakeholders) as an integral part of the product design and development process.

UXR Consulting offers mixed-methods approaches to understanding your users' needs, values, attitudes, and behaviors in relationship to your product (planned or existing). We can help you bring the user voice to the stakeholder table through a user-centered design process that fits within your scope and budget.

We specialize in remote user testing to keep budgets low, while accessing a broad population of users to meet your needs and reflect your institutional mission no matter where your office is located.

We offer a number of services that will help you make data-driven decisions with your users in mind.

  • contextual inquiry
  • card sorting
  • ethnography
  • interviews
  • usability testing
  • surveys
